Description of the tour:
1st day: Arrival to Prague. Transfer from the airport/railway station is upon request. Check in. Overnight in Prague.
2nd day: Optional: Half day Castle tours or Full day UNESCO listed town Cesky Krumlov. Overnight in Prague.
3rd day: Tour Historical Prague.
Pick up for Prague City Tour. You will see Prague as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its more than thousand years old history and architecture. Our guide will show you the New Town with Wenceslas Square, National Museum, view of Prague Castle, Lesser Town and Charles Bridge in the course of a trip from our air-conditioned bus. Then you will continue walking through the courtyards of Prague Castle learning about its history and you together visit the interior of its most important landmark, the St. Vitus Cathedral. When the 90 minute walk is over, you will again take bus going through Lesser Town to Kampa Island and go on walking across the Charles Bridge from where you take a pleasant walk through the Old Town and Jewish Town. The sightseeing tour ends at the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall and Týn Church.
Night in Prague. Optional: VLtava river cruise with dinner. Overnight in Prague.
4th day: Prague – Vienna by private bus. Check in.
Departure from Prague to Vienna (approx. 305 km, 4 hours). On the way to Vienna, we will show you the beautiful countryside of South Bohemia. Short stop nearby the city of Znojmo for rest. Arrival to Vienna. Accommodation at the hotel. Departure from the hotel for Vienna City Tour. We will drive you around Vienna’s Ringstrasse, a leafy boulevard around the heart of the city and the location of many impressive buildings, for example the State Opera House, the Hofburg (Imperial Palace), the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parliament, the Burgtheater, the City Hall and the University. Our guide will show you the most interesting and famous places of Vienna.
Overnight in Vienna.
5th day: Optional: Half day optional tour in Vienna Woods - Castle Liechtenstein - Seegrotte - Mayerling - Abbey of Heiligenkreuz - Baden. Excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna throught Castle Liechtenshtein (stop for photo).
Optionally: Strauss and Mozart Concert with dinner.
After a typical Viennese meal you will be taken to the concert. The Salonorchester Alt Wien in the Kursalon plays mainly works by Johann Strauss and other composers of his time. Overnight in Vienna.
6th day: Optional: Full day Salzburg Tour. Overnight in Vienna.
7th day: Departure Day. Breakfast only.
