Firstly we will visit to the city Stade which was first mentioned in writings dated 994, which means that the city is more than 1,000 years old and it located on the Elbe River made it an important maritime center. During our visit will be able to see a number of beautifully preserved 17th century houses and a reconstructed fish market. The town hall and the arsenal in the Pferdemarkt are remnants of an era in the late 1600’s when the city was under Swedish rule. There are several structures dating back to Gothic times, including the vaults in the cellar of the Town Hall and the altar in St. Cosmae’s Church. Examples of the Renaissance and Baroque periods can both be found at the Bürgermeister Hintze House. Classicism and Art Nouveau are also represented in the residences and businesses of the town. Also you will see all the highlights of the city centre like the Hanse harbour, which together with the river Schwinge surrounds almost the entire city centre, as well as the historic wooden pedal crane, the pretty half-timbered houses of the old town, most of which date from the 17th century or even earlier. Next we will visit to the Heide Park Resort which is one of Germany's largest theme parks and home to 40 rides like water attractions, Indian canoes, rafting, actor shows, exhibitions and many more attractions for both children and adults. Visitors can push themselves to their limits here by taking a spin on Limit, a loop-the-loop suspended rollercoaster that turns riders upside down five times in a row and leaves their legs hanging in the air thanks to the design of the seats. Then there's the wooden rollercoaster Colossos, which induces a sense of nostalgia and looks perfectly harmless. In actual fact, it is the fastest and tallest wooden rollercoaster in the world, reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h. Scream Tower – one of the world's biggest gyro-drop towers – does exactly what it says on the tin. Visitors looking for some slightly calmer entertainment can watch the many shows starring dolphins, sea lions, pirates, stunt performers and acrobats. After we return to Hamburg.
