Route: Lugano - Saas - Ice Pavilion - Mittelallalin - Lugano

Early morning we will leave the Lugano and drive through beautifull mountains to Saas Fee which up until the 14th century there was only one community in the Saas Valley. Four villages arose out of Saas - of those four Saas Fee, also known as "The Pearl of the Alps", is the most renowned; 13 four thousand meter peaks surround the glacier village, which is located at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. The Pearl of the Alps lies on a high plateau of the Saas Valley, above the other three Saas communities. There we will visit the Ice Pavilion and mount Mittelallalin. In Saas we will go to the top at Metro Alpin which is the highest underground train in the world. From Saas-Fee, the valley station we will reached at the Alpin Express. The Metro Alpin then carries you a further 476 m in altitude from the Felskinn plateau to the Mittelallalin – located roughly 3,500 m a.s.l. Firstly we will visit the Ice Pavilion which lies the entrance to the heart of the Fee Glacier. Now, the story of the 2,000-year-old ice is being rewritten. Mystery, myths and legends: Saas-Fee’s Ice Pavilion offers an awe-inspiring glimpse into the fascinating world of eternal ice. Visitors to the ice grotto can now experience an avalanche simulation with lighting effects and a shock wave that reverberates through their entire body. After we will visit the highest revolving restaurant in the world at 3'500 meters above sealevel or 11'482 feet. The one thing even more fun than the tasty cuisine is the unique views of seemingly endless mountain peaks. In one hour the restaurant revolves 360 degrees around its axis, providing you with an astonishing, ever-changing view while you're enjoying regional and international delicacies. After we will back to Saas we will drive to Lugano.
