Our first stop in this tour will be at One of the attractions that is known like Cueva del Puerto. The cave, which is located in the Sierra del Puerto, extends over 4000 meters below the mountain range. It is one of the largest caves in the region. Tour in the cave not only introduces the visitor to the beauty of the cave world, but also offers many exciting and unforgettable moments. Our next stop will be at Santuario Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza (Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope ) At the beginning of the 17th century graduate Alonso Benitez de Mumera founded the Chapel of Fuensanta, known today as Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope. This little sanctuary is cut into the rock face of a sheer cliff, overlooking the River Segura, set in tranquil gardens, a place of reflection and peace, which is justifiably one of the most visited centres of pilgrimage in the region, and the perfect partner to tie in with a visit to nearby Caravaca de la Cruz, one of only 5 Holy Cities in the world. After we will drive to Caravaca which has been given the title of a Holy City by the Vatican, a title that it shares with only four other cities in the world including Jerusalem, Rome, Santiago de Compostella and Santo Toribio de Liebana.  In the houses that extend around the castle there are beautiful examples of the Murcian Renaissance.The area where Caravaca is located was already inhabited by the Argaric, Iberian, and Roman cultures, but the origins of its urban structure must be sought in its Moorish past. One of the main features is the castle that rises up above Caravaca’s urban layout. It is of Muslim origin, was extended in the 15th century by the Patronage of the Templars and later belonged to the Order of Saint James. Its 14 fortified towers are there to safeguard the shrine of the The True Cross of Caravaca which was built in its centre in the 17th century.  One of the religious constructions considered a crowning work of the Murcian Renaissance is found in Caravaca. It is the church of El Salvador, which has been declared an Historic-Artistic Monument.  Also you will see y the church of Soledad, which today is the Archaeological Museum; the Carmelitas Convent, founded by Saint John of the Cross; and the Purísima Concepción, which was built in the 16th century on the site of the ancient Cofradía Hospitalaria de San Juan de Letrán Church. Of Renaissance origin, within its interior there are beautiful Mudejar cofferings and Baroque altar pieces.Caravaca de la Cruz is also the fifth city where you can celebrate Holy Year (Jubilee Year) in the Catholic religion, along with Santiago de Compostela, Santo Toribio de Liébana, Rome and Jerusalem. The last stop in our tour will be at Salto Del Usero which is one of the most widely enjoyed natural beauty spots in the Region of Murcia, and during the summer is used as an inland beach . The Salto is a spot where the cold water of the natural springs which join together to form the River Mula drops from the travertine landscape into two large pools, having eroded a small but spectacular natural gorge over a period of millions of years in the area known as El Molinar. After that we will return to Murcia.
