This tour we recommend for nature and adventure lovers. Our first stop we will make at the Vorderkaser Gorge which is located between St. Martin and Weißbach  which was first opened to the public in 1882. Some 12,000 to 14,000 years ago, when the Ice Age glaciers had already melted away, the current of the Oedenbach began to steadily eat away at the hard rock (at a rate of about 6 mm annually). Today´s  gorge is already 400 m long, 80 m deep, as much as 6 m wide at the top and as narrow as 80 cm at the bottom. The utterly fascinating pathway through the gorge will lead you via a series of 51 footbridges and 35 stairways with a total of 373 steps.The trail leads through a natural recreation area with swimming ponds in the Schiedergraben. After we will visit to Lamprecht´s Cave  which extends out for a total distance of about 51 km, making it one of the largest cave systems in Europe. Cavers from Poland, who were here in 1993, discovered yet another entrance at 2178 m above the sea level, which currently makes Lamprecht´s Cave the world´s biggest multiple-entrance cave.In the section of the cave which has been opened to visitors, you will be able to stroll along beautiful and very accessible walkways about 700 m into the mountain, dropping a total of 70 vertical meters on your way to the spacious viewing platform, from where you can enjoy impressive views of most of the well-lit cave. Before our rafting trip we will visit  to  the Fortress of Pass Strub was built to remember the Tirolean liberation wars. Today the ruins remind us of this historical period, especially in the Salzburg region because in the Tirol almost everything was destroyed. Our next attraction in this tour will be rafting at the Saalach river.  It is the traditional tour among all rafting adventures and perfect for all beginners and occasional adventurers. Under the command of an experienced guide, the team in the raft will face the various challenges of the Saalach river. Among others, we have the adventurous Auer Loch, Prallwand and Unkener Brückenschwall on the list. After all the action on the river, there is a hearty snack waiting for all participants after the tour. After we will return to Salzburg.
