Firstly we will visit to  Esterhazy Palace, a magnificent Baroque castle, also known as the “Hungarian Versailles”, is located in the centre of the Ferto. The construction and heyday of the castle complex are connected to Prince Miklós (Nikolaus) Esterházy, who was given the title of “the Magnificent” because of his building of palaces and taste for grand musical productions and luxurious festivities. The Esterházy Palace was built between 1762 and 1784 in Baroque and Rococo styles. It is often compared to Versailles, but some historians argue that it was rather influenced by Austrian prototypes, especially the Schönbrunn Palace. The park and the landscape surrounding the castle represent the most mature work of Baroque garden art in Hungary. Our next stop will be at the  Nádasdy Castle which is an imposing feat of design, with its distinctive pentagonal shape and a dry moat surrounding its walls. The building originated in the 13th century as a more modest three-storey tower, but much of what you’ll see today is a 16th century Renaissance construction. As punishment for taking part in the 1670 rebellion, Austria confiscated many of the Nádasdys’ possessions, meaning that most of the décor had to be replaced. One artefact that did survive the purge was the dramatic 17th century Knight’s Hall ceiling fresco, painted by Hans Rudolf Miller, depicting Hungarian forces – including Ferenc – fighting the Turks. Later on, in 1769, Baroque artist István Dorfmeister added the grand Old Testament wall paintings. After visit to Castles we will give for our body time for relax and visit to the Spa and Wellness Centre Sárvár. Designed for blissful relaxation all year round, the complex comprises a variety of medicinal and adventure pools, a sauna and paddling pools for toddlers. It also features a medical section, a wellness and fitness centre, a beauty parlour, exclusive relaxation rooms and a crèche. An open-air pool with a chute, a diving pool, a wave pool and a children’s fun pool welcome young and old from spring to autumn. The Sárvár Spa is a pearl among the spas of Hungary offering outstandingly high standards of service. In the Sarvar area, thermal water at a temperature of 43 °C springs from a depth 1200 metres, whilst water which originates from a depth of 2000 metres has a much higher temperature of 83 °C and also a high salt content. From the 83 °C rich saline water, the famous Sarvar crystal is produced through a process of evaporation. This salty medicinal healing water is used effectively for the treatment of certain ailments and mobility diseases as well as for dermatology and gynaecology. The 43 °C thermal water meanwhile contains alkaline hydrogen carbonates and is especially suitable for the treatment of chronic degenerative musculoskeletal diseases, rehabilitation after surgery or accidents(including sport injuries), neurological complaints and muscle relaxing baths. After the relax we will return to Sopron.
