Firstly we will make a short stop at the Weil der Stadt wich often called the ‘Gate to the Black Forest.’ First mentioned in 1075, it was destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War, in 1648, and rebuilt. Weil der Stadt escaped destruction in WWII when a French artillery barrage was called off because it was Johannes Kepler’s birthplace. Kepler was a key figure in the 17th-century scientific revolution, best known for his laws of planetary motion. His work also provided one of the foundations of Isaac Newton’s theory of universal gravitation. We will stroll through the former Free Imperial City where the past is all around you: city walls, fortified towers, the mighty Catholic parish church of Sts. Peter and Paul, birthplace of both the astronomer Johannes Kepler and the Protestant reformer Johannes Brenz, the historic market square with the town hall, the atmospheric chapel of the former hospital. Wherever you go in Weil der Stadt, the past is all around you: you'll come across traces of Weil's famous sons, Steinhöwel, Brenz and Kepler, imposing buildings, fascinating museums and lots more. Next we will visit to  Baden-Baden which offers a charming blend of cultures with grand Art Nouveau villas, modern boutiques, and chic cafés. Next we will reach the Strasbourg which is the capital of Europe and Alsace, has a historical and architectural heritage that makes it the richest city in Alsace. Its city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can call this city an European one because here you can find the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and an European Ombudsman. This big, powerful city is also well-known for the Grand Island, which is the historic center of the city. It symbolizes the unity between Germany and France. During our tour you will see and know about the Cathedral of Notre-Dame,  Église Saint-Thomas church, Église Saint-Guillaume church, the historic Place Broglie, Place de la Cathédrale, the Kammerzell house, the Grande-Île, the German Quarter, Place Gutenberg, Place de la République and Place Kléber and other city's main monuments. Also you will walk along the quays of the boatmen and observe beautiful 16th to 18th century half-timbered buildings, you will cross the famous district of Little France with its canals. After free time we return to Stuttgart.
