Firstly we will visit to La Venaria Reale which is a grandiose estate just outside Turin. In comprises 80,000 square meters of floor surface in the Reggia and 60 hectares of Gardens, adjacent to the 17th century ancient village of Venaria and the 3,000 fenced hectares of the Park of La Mandria. It is a natural and architectural masterpiece that was declared part of the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1997. The monumental palace, is home to some of the finest examples of universal Baroque: the enchanting Hall of Diana designed by Amedeo di Castellamonte, the breathtaking Great Gallery and the solemn Church of St. Hubert, the grandiose complex of the Juvarra Stables designed by Filippo Juvarra in the 18th century, the sumptuous decorations, the famous Bucentaur and the spectacular Fountain of the Stag in the Court of Honor.These provide a unique setting for the Theater of History and Magnificence, the permanent display — almost 2,000 m long — devoted to the House of Savoy, that spans from the basement level to the piano nobile of the Reggia. The Royal Apartments are fully furbished and contain precious objects, artworks, textiles, furniture and furnishings from ancient Savoy collections that allow visitors to appreciate the taste of the first king of Italy. Next we will wisit to the hunting lodge at Stupinigi - the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi which is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. The words hunting lodge perhaps bring to mind something small and humble. In the case of Stupinigi nothing could be further from the truth - in 1729 when Vittorio Amadeo II commanded the lodge be built he had something altogether more grand in mind. The Hunting Lodge of Stupinigi is an excessive building, extravagant and splendid at the same time. The main palace broadly circles an 'inner' courtyard, which itself is reached from a larger open garden area and between two massive wings on the palace. There is nothing small scale about Stupinigi! Less clear from ground level when you visit, the four aisles that radiate from the heart (in the form of a Cross of Saint Andrew) of the main building are set to point in the directions of the different hunting routes.Many of the enormous rooms within the 'lodge' - you will see libraries, galleries, salons, private apartments, the King and Queens chambers etc during your visit - are decorated with paintings, trompe loeil, fine furniture and magnificent tapestries. The central 'salon' is the centerpiece of a visit. This high and expansive room incorporates numerous frescoes and various trompe l'oeil effects to further accentuate the grandeur. Within the palace there are also a large number of rooms that form part of a museum dedicated to 17th and 18th century furnishings, the Museum of Art and Furniture. The palace is also surrounded by impressive formal gardens and is in a very pleasant setting - the surroundng area is now designated as the Stupinigi Natural Park. After visit to historical sites we will go to Casa Martini is a welcoming place open to the public. Located in Pessione di Chieri in the historical Martini & Rossi building. A place with a soul, where you can really sense the values that inspired Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi who established the business over 150 years ago. The best feature of CASA MARTINI is its versatility, as it is a single building combining different dimensions Museum of the History of Winemaking and Mondo Martini gallery, Bar Academy, Botanical Room and Old Laboratory and shop at the Martini Store. During this tour you'll have the chance to visit, the most representative places of Casa Martini. You'll see very fashionable environements and rooms, and also the historic store! The tour will end with a delious final tasting session. Next we will visit the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria della Scala in Chieri is a late-Gothic Roman Catholic collegiate church, and the principal church or duomo, in the town of Chieri. An ancient church on the site was erected by Bishop Landolfo of Turin in the 11th century, putatively on the site of a temple to Minerva. The present church was rebuilt in the first decade of the 15th century, initially under the patronage of the Balbi and Bertoni families. There you will see the beautifull nterior and listen the history of the Cathedral.After we return to Turin.
