Firstly we will visit to the Auschwitz which is as a symbol of genocide, terror and the Holocaust is a memorial of human heroism, solidarity and resistance to crime and terror. First of all, Auschwitz-Birkenau was the largest and the most efficient of all the German Nazi concentration and extermination camps built in occupied Europe. The sheer number of victims—close to 1.5 million—is not the only factor that renders the site unique. Auschwitz-Birkenau was one of the only two Nazi camps where the perpetrators merged two functions in one place: mass incarceration of slave labor and mass extermination of people in gas chambers. The Auschwitz is a memorial of the Victims of Auschwitz Concentration Camp, people who were killed or died here during World War II. Tour includes Auschwitz Museum and Birkenau Museum. Next we will visit to Wadowice which was firstly historically proven record in 1327, Czech king John of Luxemburg. In 1456 the duke Wenceslaus I gave the fief of principality Casimir IV the Jagiellonian and in 1494 his grandson, Janusz V, sold the principality to the Polish king Jan Olbracht. Only in 1564 the Parliament of the Republic completed the long process of incorporation of the Duchy of Zator and also Wadowice to the Polish Kingdom. "The Royal Free Town Wadowice" was gaining additional privileges and at the XVI - XVIII century developed urban self-government with its own police authority, tax and judicial. At the end of the nineteenth century came to Wadowice fathers Carmelites with father Rafał Kalinowski, later a saint, and built "on the Hill" (na Górce) neo-Romanesque church and monastery (construction took place from 1897 to 1899). On the other side of town, on the Mound, in 1909 Priests Pallottines built their "Collegium Marianum". Both the assembly next pastoral activity began to run schools - Carmelites private high school and Pallottines minor seminary. The birthplace of John Pope II is frequently visited by Polish and foreign tourists and pilgrims. Next we will visit to the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec which is the oldest monastery in Poland! The first monks living according to the rule of St. Benedict arrived to Tyniec in the 11th century. The legend tells, that the medieval owners of the village came into conflict with Prince Casimir the Just, who finally deprived of their land and settled the monks on the Tyniec Hill. During our Tyniec sightseeing we go for a walk through the monastery courtyard, watch the beautiful interior of the church and admire the medieval monastery cloisters. We will also see the remarkable collections of the Museum of the Tyniec Abbey with many archaeological artefacts from the period preceding the foundation of the monastery. Tyniec is an extraordinary place – historical buildings, magnificent landscape, and aura of concentration and prayerfulness create its unique atmosphere.After we return to Krakow.
