Firstly we will visit the baroque and neoclassical palace-and-park complex in Kozlowka is one of the best-preserved aristocratic residences in Poland and now one of the country’s national historic monuments. The history of this extraordinary eastern Poland gem dates back to the first half of the18th century, with its architectural inspiration being a mixture of European art with Polish building traditions. The palace stables are home to a unique Socialist Realism Art Gallery, the only one in Poland and Europe. A vast collection of over 1,600 socialist realist sculptures, busts, paintings and posters from the 1950s have been collected here and add to the venue’s artistic beauty. Next we will visit to concentration camp Majdanek which was one of the first concentration camps to be liberated by Allied forces during the War. Around 80,000 people lost their lives during World War II at the camp, the majority of them Jews. The camp in Majdanek was one of the largest and one of the harshest for prisoners which was set up by the Third Reich in occupied Europe. The Nazi concentration camp in Majdanek, known as Konzentrationslager Lublin, existed between October 1941 and July 1944. Originally it was set up only for men, but from October 1942 started accepting women, and from March 1943, also children. Next we will visit the Open Air Village Museum in Lublin located in the valley of Czechowka River is one of the biggest open air museums in Poland. Owing to its rich architecture, exhibits and also the concern of intangible heritage of the region, it shows the cultural diversity of the province. It gathers items related to the former life in the village, in the manor and in the small town. It also preserves the knowledge about customs, rituals, traditions and everyday work of people living in the past. Guests of the Museum can visit expositions of hairdresser’s, ironmonger’s shop, Jewish kitchen, post office, tobacconist’s, beer house, mayor’s house and three workshops: wheelwright’s, cobbler’s and craftsman’s making shoe uppers. Roman Catholic church complex is also a part of the abovementioned sector. Next we will visit to the Lublin where see the historic Gates and city towers, amazing Lublin Castle and admire multiple fantastic churches. The first traces of settlement in the area of modern Lublin date back to the 6th century. It was first mentioned in written sources in around 1198. In 1317, Lublin was granted city rights by Polish King Władysław I Elbow-high (1261–1333). The Chapel of the Holy Trinity, located in the courtyard of Lublin Castle, dates to 1407 and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city. The Old Town of Lublin is one of Poland’s official national Historic Monuments. During our visit you will learn the history of Lublin as well as the traditions and customs of Polish people, discover Old Town among narrow alleys and listen history of Polish Kings. Also you will see the Trinitarian Tower is the highest historical viewpoint of Lublin, the Cathedral of St John the Baptist which built in the Baroque style during the 17th century for the Jesuits. It has a charming interior, and rare for countries in northern and eastern Europe, a lone standing bell tower, the Square in the Old Town of Lublin created after the dismantling of St. Michael the Archangel Church, the Lublin Union Monument and the Stone church and monastery which were built in 1342. Next we will visit to Kazimierz Dolny is a real gem – one of the most precious and charming places in Poland. It is also one of the most well-known resorts in Poland and abroad, with over one-hundred-year-old tradition of a summer resort and an artistic colony. Its greatest prosperity dates back 16th and the first half of the 17th century, due to the trade in grain conducted along the Vistula. During this tour we will visit 16th century Parish Church, ruins of medieval castle and tower, pictures streets and squares of old town, granaries, synagogue and wooden butcher place, Jewish cemetery. After we return to Warsaw.
